How: Method & Process
Every process is a continuum of effort. Every effort
has a place in the process, and every outcome is the
result of the process. The process better be sound.
Plan -> Action
Think -> Do
Concept -> Design
We believe that highest level of results, and the lowest
level of stress, is achieved when a process and expectations
are most clearly laid out before hand. Regardless of
which service or range of service you are using FoxDot
for, you can expect a process that will follow very
closely to the one here. For an engagement that utilizes
several of our services, there will most likely be a
process like this for each:
Program Brief: A summary of the expectations
of the work to be performed. Usually provided by
the client in the form of a request for quote or
something similar.
Quotation: A response to the program brief with
an estimate of the schedule and cost of performing
the work in question
Contract: The agreed upon detail of the work
to be performed
Assessment & Research: The initial fact-find
process of determining who's who, what's what, and
establishing a direction plus or minus 90 degrees.
Concept & Design: This can take the form
of a rough draft report or outline, prototype, or
some other similar deliverable to aid in communication
between all parties involved. This stage will involve
elements such as identity and brand integration
goals and expectations.
Feedback / Review / Revise: This is an iteration
of the results gained from the initial design phase
that will be worked into the next step.
Design Refinement: This stage can take the form
of a physical prototype, a beta release of a site,
or a rough comp or design.
Feedback: Feedback is collected and integrated
into the design process from the refinement stage.
Depending on the work being performed the process
may iterate back to perform one or more stages of
design before moving on to the final design.
Final Design Review: This is where you review
and sign off that FoxDot
has met or exceeded your expectations for the work
we've done for you.
Final Design: This is the final result of the
process or the final deliverable
